Goliad State Park
Goliad, Texas
Goliad State Park contains a refurnished replica of
Mission Nuestra Senora del Espiritu Santo de Zuniga,
reconstructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in
the 1930s. The mission was established in 1722 near
Matagorda Bay and moved to its present site in 1749. |

San Xavier del Bac
Near Tucson, Arizona
Founded by a priest, Father Eusebio Francisco Kino in
1692. While traveling to California, Kino found a Indian
village where he decided to stop and preach to the
people in the area. |
